Terms of Service
Plain terms for a service that redirects traffic on your behalf. The short version: use it for links you have the right to publish, don't point it at anything that harms the person clicking, and don't try to route around the limits.
Agreement
Creating an account or using urlify.eu.cc means you accept these terms. If you are using it for an employer or client, you are confirming you have authority to accept on their behalf. If you do not accept them, do not create an account — there is no version of the service that runs without them.
What the service does
urlify.eu.cc creates short links and decides, at the moment each one is clicked, whether to allow, challenge or block the request. The decision uses a model that runs at the edge and returns a verdict with a confidence score. It is a probabilistic classifier, not an oracle: it will sometimes challenge a real person and sometimes allow an automated client. Thresholds are yours to tune, and the reasoning behind each verdict is shown in the console so a wrong call is visible rather than mysterious.
Acceptable use
The following are not permitted, and an account doing any of them can be suspended without notice, because the harm lands on someone who merely clicked a link:
- Linking to malware, ransomware, exploit kits, or any download intended to compromise the visitor’s device.
- Phishing, credential harvesting, or impersonating a person, brand or institution to obtain data or money.
- Content that is illegal where it is served, and in every case child sexual abuse material, which is reported rather than merely removed.
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages that rely on these links, or using them to evade a platform’s spam controls or a domain block.
- Cloaking — showing a reviewer, crawler or ad network one destination while sending real traffic somewhere else.
- Attacking the service: probing for vulnerabilities without authorisation, defeating rate limits, forging signed requests, scraping, or reselling raw capacity as your own redirect API.
Reports go to security@urlify.eu.cc. Include the short link and roughly when you saw it; that pair is enough to find the record and act on it.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything done through your account. Passwords are stored hashed, so we cannot recover one for you — a lost password is reset, not retrieved. Tell us promptly at security@urlify.eu.cc if you think someone else has access. One person or organisation per account; do not share logins to work around a plan limit.
Limits and fair use
Requests are rate limited per client on the surfaces that need it — slug availability checks, password-unlock attempts, the link analyzer and the contact form. Hitting a limit returns a clear error with a retry window rather than failing silently. Deliberately circumventing a limit — rotating addresses, spreading load across accounts, or scripting around a challenge — is treated as abuse under the section above, not as clever engineering.
Your content, your rights
You keep ownership of your links, destinations and any content behind them. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service: to store your links, resolve them, score the traffic and show you the analytics. We do not claim rights in your destinations and we do not repurpose them. Everything urlify.eu.cc itself is made of — the software, the model, the interface, the name and the marks — stays ours.
Availability
The service runs on Cloudflare’s edge network and is built to stay up, but no uptime figure is promised on the current plans, and we will not pretend otherwise by publishing a number we do not underwrite. Maintenance, provider incidents and abuse mitigation can all interrupt it. Where a formal availability commitment matters to you, write to support@urlify.eu.cc and we will discuss terms rather than post an aspiration here.
Third-party destinations
A short link points somewhere we do not control. A verdict of “allow” means the request looked legitimate to the classifier; it is not an endorsement of the destination or a warranty that it is safe. Nor do we read or alter the destination page. Judgement about where a link goes remains with whoever created it.
Fees
The service is free while in beta. There are no paid plans on sale today, no metering, and no payment method is taken — so there is nothing to bill and nothing to cancel. If we introduce paid plans later, we will state the price and the billing terms before you are asked to pay, and any change to pricing applies only from your next renewal, never retroactively within a period you have already paid for.
Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time, which removes it and the links under it — those links then stop resolving, so repoint anything that matters before you do. We may suspend or close an account for a breach of the acceptable-use section, for non-payment, or where the law requires it. For anything other than a clear abuse case we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to fix it first.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. In particular we do not warrant that the classifier will catch every malicious request or never challenge a legitimate one; a probabilistic system that promised either would be lying.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose — or, if you are on the free tier, to putting the service right. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Indemnity
If a third party brings a claim against us because of what you pointed a link at or how you used the service, you agree to cover the resulting costs. This is the counterpart to keeping ownership of your destinations: control of the content sits with you, so the consequences of that content do too.
Changes to these terms
The date at the top moves when the substance changes. Material changes are announced by email to account holders before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that is acceptance. If a change does not work for you, the remedy is to close the account before it lands.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not remove your right to bring a claim in your local courts where the law gives you one.
